I thought that I saw you... that you saw me
On a deeper plane which no eyes could glean
Surpassing the words, that between us danced
Yet, pixelations... were all that were seen
See I'm a fool when it comes to romance
Still my soul would seek yours... given the chance
I see clearly now that I was deceived
Your penchant unveils you... at second glance
Was it my own reflection... I perceived
Or tenebrosity casting its seed?
Perhaps sheer desperation was to blame
Through my chasm of ever-expanding need
My imagination... I hope to tame
You'll no longer be in fate's window-pane
My mirror, the pond... steamy shower-pane
I'll see you no more... my dreams they will wane
