So let's pay it forward just by moving our feet
Let's take part in a marathon, a sponsored hike
Let us climb Ben Nevis or wherever you'd like
When you buy coffee, pay for another in lieu
That way someone less-fortunate will have one too
Just by letting a mother and toddler jump queue
You may gift her an hour's sleep, when there's been too few
So let's pay it forward so that children can learn
So let's pay it forward so they're able to earn
Let's bake a cake for a coffee morning or fair
Let's get a new summer look and donate our hair
As it can be that simple to help change a life
Of someone who's struggling amidst life's taxing strife
Easy to be apathetic when wealth is rife
But imagine suffering... your children, your wife
So let's pay it forward and show others we care
So let's pay it forward with our blessings let's share
Let's hold open the door, for those whom are in pain
Let's deem capabilities... we're not all the same
When we have some loose change, let's give it a good cause
Donate toys, clothes; become an all year Santa Claus
When we sieve our perceptions through judgemental gauze
We isolate the vulnerable, pass fascist laws
So let's pay it forward, enhance the human race
So let's pay it forward, let's light up someone's face
So let's pay it forward, let's acknowledge the need
So let's pay it forward let's not wallow in greed!
