Too painful was the pen to hold...
As acidic-words of hate it told
It dipped and ripped my heart in two
With an ink of deepest crimson hue
Traced from my heart, each verse it sketched
No holding back... it etched deep regrets
The letters rained upon the page
Rivers of remorse each sentence raged
The paragraphs, it emptied still
Till of my soul it did have its fill
So I, now barren... crawl away
To face the world with a brand new page
